The video in question refers to the 1999 Champions League final, where Solskjaer was the protagonist with the decisive goal in the comeback victory over Bayern Monaco in the recovery minutes. The film did not appear on the homepage of the club but was published under a photo of the former number 20 where the url was unveiled.
Manchester United has taken steps to remove the content immediately, but already today, December 19, awaits the official engagement of the Norwegian.
Even the Norwegian prime minister, Erna Solberg, wanted to congratulate the former striker via a tweet (later canceled): "Great day for Norwegian football".
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wore the Red Devils shirt for eleven seasons, from 1996 to 2007, winning 16 trophies and scoring for 126 times.
