LISBON (PORTUGAL) – The coronavirus did not dig into the consciences of violent fans by changing their bad habits.
To write yet another black page of the ball this time is Portugal.
After a goalless draw against Tondela last night, a group of supporters threw stones at the team bus, injuring two Benfica players who were transported to the hospital.
The Benfica players who have been injured are Weigl and Zivkovic but both are not serious injuries.
The Lusitanian club has already issued a statement in which it announced that it has guaranteed maximum collaboration with the police to identify the culprits of the gesture.
While in Portugal they started the championship again, in Italy we are almost there.
The Serie A will restart on June 20 but first we will have the appetizer with the matches of the Italian Cup.
Juventus-Milan on 12 June and Napoli-Inter on 13 will serve to establish the teams that will play in the Italian Cup final.
The last act of the first Italian trophy to be awarded during the coronavirus will be played on June 17 at the Olympic stadium in Rome (source ANSA).
