BARCELONA – Liverpool fans have sown panic in the streets of central Barcelona before the Champions League semi-final round. Once again, the well-bred English fans are doing their worst job abroad. After making the central area of Plaza Real a dustbin, they started to harass other people in the area. Some Liverpool fans, visibly drunk, started pushing people inside the Plaza Real fountain with general laughter and chorus of ridicule. After the arrival of the Catalan security forces, the Liverpool fans did not move back an inch and continued to be protagonists of intemperance. The clash between the English fans and the police was inevitable to restore order. The Catalan police forces, at the end of the clashes, arrested six Liverpool fans.

"The Liverpool football club is working with the Merseyside police and the Spanish authorities to identify the people involved in these incidents.
