ROME – "I belong to that 98% of those spectators that the choirs did not hear them. I do not question the good faith nor the hearing of those who listened to them. If there have been society, it condemns any kind of racist and anti-Semitic chorus, but we must also evaluate the size of the phenomenon without magnifying the phenomenon ". It is the spontaneous declaration of Lazio's spokesperson, Arturo Diaconale, about the racist and anti-Semitic chants heard at the Olimpico on one side of the northern Lazio corner during the Italian Cup match between Lazio and Novara.
Diaconal: "There is a psychosis towards Lazio"
"I believe – added Diaconale – there is a form of psychosis that inflate episodes and marginal and minority issues and apparently non-existent in gigantic matters. I read the choirs in the stadium, as if the whole stadium had racist chants. We live in a particular environment where news can go around the world and damage the image of society ".
Racist chants, #Diaconal : "An unacceptable psychosis is underway that damages the #Lazio ". Diabolik: "We got fed up, the biancocelesti fans are an easy target" https://t.co/iFQxUUyM5z
