Lazio, Immobile won the Scarpa d’Oro, the scorers ranking and equaled Higuain’s record

Now it's official, Lazio's Ciro Immobile won the Scarpa d'Oro, the Serie A marker standings and equaled Higuain's record.

Lazio home party not only for the return to the Champions League but also for the individual successes of Ciro Immobile.

The striker from Campania won the Scarpa d'Oro, it is an extraordinary feat because before him only two Italian players had succeeded, Toni and Totti.

Immobile not only won the Golden Shoe but also the title of top scorer in Serie A.

But the striker from Campania has done even more. With his 36 goals he hooked Higuain, the record holder of the most goals scored in a Serie A season.

If Immobile had scored another goal, he would have passed Higuain and would have become the absolute record holder for goals scored in a Serie A season.

The Golden Shoe is a trophy that has existed since 1967 but in all these years only three Italians have managed to conquer it. Before Ciro Immobile, Luca Toni did it with Fiorentina in 2006 and Francesco Totti with Roma in 2007.

So the last Italian to have won the trophy before Ciro Immobile was a footballer, Totti, who played for a team in Rome.

So winning the trophy, Immobile brought back the Golden Shoe both in Italy and in Rome but this time on the white-blue bank of the Tiber.
