ROME – Negotiations on the Rome-Turin axis continue unceasingly. After concretizing the exchange between Luca Pellegrini and Leonardo Spinazzola, Juve and Roma are still sitting at the negotiating table to talk about the exchange between Nicolò Zaniolo and Gonzalo Higuain.

Again, this should not be an equal exchange. Nicolò Zaniolo is valued at 70 million euros, despite the terrible European Under-21s in the ranks of Italy, while Higuain, who until recently was worth 100 million euros, has halved its value. Indeed, perhaps at the moment it is worth less than half because it is back from two failed experiences with the Milan and Chelsea shirts.

In Milan, it had become the reserve of the young Patrick Cutrone, so much so that then the Rossoneri gave him the sack in January to take Piatek, while at Chelsea he acted as reserve for the French Oliver Giroud, great protagonist in the European triumph of the English of Maurizio Sarri (now at Juventus).

In short, Higuain failed to return to his levels even with Maurizio Sarri and for this reason his current market is practically non-existent. Roma needs a first striker because it is about to hand over the number nine holder, Edin Dzeko, to Inter and needs to replace him with an experience bomber.

For the Giallorossi only Patrick Schick remained and Roma cannot only bet on a player who never exploded in the capital. For this reason, Schick must be joined by an experienced striker who knows our championship very well. From this point of view, Higuain could be ideal for the team coached by Fonseca.

Juve, for its part, would gladly give it away to take a gem like Nicolò Zaniolo. The parties are talking about it, developments are expected next week.
