ROME – Maurizio Sarri has pneumonia and now his Parma debut is at risk.
The Juventus coach is taking care of himself, even though he has never stopped caring for the team. It was the club that made the diagnosis. A statement of a few lines explaining what happened: "Maurizio Sarri, after the rest observed over the weekend, came to the JTC where he coordinated the work of his staff. Unfortunately he could not direct the training in the field due to the persistence of the flu syndrome, which struck him during the last week ”.
"In the late afternoon – continues the Juventus statement released in the last hours – the technician was subjected to further tests that confirmed a pneumonia, for which specific therapy was prescribed. The coach has authorized the club to communicate his state of health ". At this point his presence on the Juve bench, which will debut in the league on Saturday at 6.00 pm at Parma, seems to be in strong doubt. The assistant coach of Maurizio Sarri, or Giovanni Martusciello, could be on the bench for the debut match against Parma, as has already happened on the occasion of the last pre-season friendly in Trieste.
