ROME – The three knockout rounds of the Italian Cup of the day have issued their verdicts: Lazio, Naples and Inter have qualified for the quarterfinals of the Italian Cup. Napoli and Lazio will compete in the single game at San Paolo, while Inter will face the winner of Atalanta-Fiorentina. The first team to qualify was Napoli. The Campania team won two to zero against Perugia in a game decided by the penalties.

The two penalties assigned to Napoli were coldly transformed by Lorenzo Insigne, while the one assigned to Perugia was kicked by Iemmello and saved by Ospina, who thus redeemed the sensational duck against Lazio in the last championship round.

Shortly thereafter, it was the turn of the biancocelesti. The team coached by Simone Inzaghi won easily against the Cremonese. The final four to zero is the result of goals by Patric, Parolo, Ciro Immobile on a penalty kick and Bastos. In the evening, Inter scored four goals against Cagliari in a free fall.

Inter found Alexis Sanchez but the Chilean was unable to score so the match was decided by the brace of the usual Lukaku and by goals from Borja Valero and Ranocchia. Cagliari scored the flag net with Oliva.
