Italian Cup: Juventus-Milan on 12 June, Napoli-Inter on 13 June, final on 17 June

ROME – Sports Minister Vincenzo Spadafora has made the Italian Cup semi-final and final dates official .

Italian football will restart with Juventus-Milan on 12 June.

The following day, 13 June , will be the turn of the other Napoli-Inter semifinal .

Just four days later, on June 17, the first Italian trophy will be awarded during the coronavirus in Rome.

Just three days later, on June 20 , the Italian Serie A football championship will start again

This decision was announced by the sports minister Spadafora through the following statements reported by the ANSA:

“I asked that we could start again with the Italian Cup , with the three matches in the clear on Rai.

The two semi-finals were brought forward to allow for a tight schedule.

It will be played on 12 and 13 June, then the final on 17 ".

So in the end the protests of the two Milanese companies had no effect on the final decision.

Inter , according to what was written by the Gazzetta dello Sport, would have threatened to appear at San Paolo with the Primavera team.

Milan , however, had made itself felt with its president Scaroni:

"We understand – said Scaroni – the value of being able to offer all fans quality games after months of lockdown.

But, from a sporting point of view, we find it questionable to assign an important trophy like the Italian Cup with two games in three days.

With the teams on the field after more than three months of detention ".

To win the trophy, four clubs remain in the running: Inter, Milan, Juventus and Napoli.

The results accrued in the first legs elect Juventus and Napoli as favorites but the qualifying speech remains in the balance.

Inter played the first leg in a period of striking physical decline.

Napoli won at San Siro with a magic by Fabian Ruiz, a dream of the transfer market of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

In the other semifinal, Milan and Juventus drew one by one at San Siro.

Rebic deluded the Rossoneri but then Cristiano Ronaldo drew the score on penalty at the end.

The Rossoneri show up in Turin without several key players.

Ibrahimovic, Theo Hernandez and Castillejo are in fact disqualified .
