Inter does not pass to Rome, Juventus can mortgage the league title

Inter had to win in order to still hope for the Scudetto but risked losing in Rome and eventually had to settle for the draw.

Inter drew 2 to 2 in Rome and moved to less than five from Juventus but in a few hours the bianconeri will have the opportunity to take more than 8 on the Nerazzurri four days after the end of the championship. In this case, Sarri's team would mortgage the title.

Inter had to deal with one of the best fit teams of the moment. Roma played better than the Nerazzurri and also deserved success but in the end paid a sensational defensive error by Spinazzola.

In the first half, Inter took the lead with a header from De Vrij. The Dutchman slipped between Kolarov and Spinazzola and beat Lopez by two steps.

Shortly before, Roma had had a practically identical chance with Mancini but the former Atalanta defender had shot out of an excellent position.

The Giallorossi, however, arrived at the tie at the end of the first half with Spinazzola. The full back scored with a right-footed flat after a good combination between Mkhitaryan and Dzeko. Spinazzola's shot was deflected off the net by De Vrij.

In the second half, Roma signed overtaking with a wild Mkhitaryan (on the 9th goal in the league despite the many injuries suffered).

The Armenian triangulated with Dzeko and beat Handanovic with a right sub-measure. In the final game, the coaches threw the big three absent from the first minute, Lukaku, Eriksen and Smalling, into the fray.

Roma threw away the victory with a sensational mistake by Spinazzola. The former Juventus full-back tried to postpone the ball but it went smoothly and struck Moses with a kick.

Net rigor, there is no doubt about this. From eleven meters, Lukaku has not made a mistake. This result does not make anyone happy but the two teams have further confirmation of their good period of form.
