NOVELLARA – The world of sport cries Gian Paolo Bolondi : the 49-year-old master athletics champion died in a car accident around 6 pm on Thursday 28 February in Novellara , in the province of Reggio Emilia. The Guzzi motorcycle on which he was traveling collided with a car near a roundabout and he was useless rescue.
The causes are being examined by the local police in the Bassa reggiana. On the site of the accident, on the Provincial of Novellara, the family members, who live in the inhabited center, have arrived. Bolondi was a pole jumper and on Sunday, in Ancona, he had won the indoor master championships in the category.
