GENT (BELGIUM) – Cyclone Ciara hit Europe, killed five people and stopped football in Germany, England, Holland and Belgium. The violent Atlantic disturbance has also brought the city of Gent to its knees, home to Rome's next Europa League game. The Giallorossi will play in Belgium on 27 February for the Europa League round of 32.

Gent-Roma of Europa League could play in another stadium.

As reported by the local media, you can find the photo at the top left, on Monday evening the storm caused some panels of the roof of the 'Ghelamco Arena' to collapse. These remains of the roof ended their run in a supermarket that was located near the sports facility but fortunately there are no victims or injuries.

Now Gent will have to repair this damage in time for the game against Roma. Otherwise, the match should be played in another sports facility where all safety rules are guaranteed.

The Europa League is a fundamental competition for Rome as the Giallorossi have already been eliminated from the Italian Cup and in the championship they are struggling in the Champions League race against Atalanta. Gasperini's team is the real favorite for fourth place.
