Genoa-Napoli 1-2, Gattuso is a magician: he also regenerated Lozano

Four wins in five games plus an Italian Cup on the bulletin board. Napoli started again after the forced stop for the coronavirus. Today the Neapolitans have achieved precious success at Genoa.

The real architect of the 'miracle Naples' is called Rino Gattuso. The former AC Milan coach, with the unconditional support of the club, has been able to enter the hearts of his boys and the victory against Genoa is only the last stage of a virtuous path undertaken for some time.

Gattuso inherited a broken team after the traumatic break with Ancelotti and the chaos of post-mutiny fines. The Calabrian coach took a while, and some defeats also came, but in the end he was able to bring all the players on his side.

The last masterpiece was the full recovery of Lozano . The Mexican was paid for in gold but with Ancelotti he looked like a ghost. Now one of the most expensive purchases in the history of Napoli is showing its value with decisive goals.

First the network on the difficult field of Verona, then today's. Against Genoa, Lozano scored the winning goal by showcasing his entire repertoire.

But let's take a step back, before Lozano's goal, the result was firm on one by one.

Napoli had taken the lead with the usual magic of its all-time top scorer, Dries Mertens.

The Belgian had beaten Perin with a shot from the edge of the penalty area. Football has no logic and in the best moment of Napoli Goldaniga's draw came (head goal on corner action).

In the second half, Fabian Ruiz caught Lozano with a masterpiece launch. The Mexican burned Biraschi at speed and beat Perin with a powerful low shot.

Three points to Napoli, already mathematically in the Europa League, and a heavy defeat for Genoa which has been overtaken by Lecce and is in the full relegation zone.
