ROME – Luciano Gaucci, long president of Perugia between the 90s and 2000s, died today in Santo Domingo. ANSA learns it in football environments. Gaucci, 81, had initially gone to the Dominican Republic to escape fraudulent bankruptcy allegations as a result of the bankruptcy of the Umbrian club. After bargaining and taking advantage of a pardon, he remained on the Caribbean island: he had been seriously ill for some time.
