ROME – He courted the wrong woman. That's why Daniel Correa Freitas, a 24-year-old Brazilian midfielder, was slaughtered and emasculated with a machete last Saturday. In the last hours, disturbing details are emerging on the murderer's murder.
A witness revealed that the player was attacked in the apartment where he had been with a girl after having participated in a party with some former teammates.
