MILAN – The 20 football companies with the highest turnover in the world generated total revenues of 8.3 bln euros in the 2017-18 season, + 6% on the previous year: this is what emerges from the Deloitte Football Money League report. Guided by Real Madrid (750.9 mln), Barcelona (690.4) and Man United (666), the ranking highlights how the top 3 richest clubs of the last season generated revenues of 2.1 bln, more than doubling the figure of the first 3 clubs in the ranking 10 years ago.
The analysis of the total turnover of the clubs
On the total turnover of 8.3 billion of the 20 clubs, the radiotv rights are 43% even if proportionally increases the percentage of turnover resulting from commercial agreements (now they are 40% compared to 38%). The first Italian club is Juventus, 11 / a. It is the first time that the bianconeri have not appeared in the top ten since 2011-2012. Turnover in effect is slightly down, under 400 mln (394.9). 14th Inter, which rises one place (280.8 million), followed by Rome and remained unchanged (250). Milan is also stable at 18 / o place (207.7).
