ROME – The Italian Football Association decides to intervene against racist incidents: after two groups of racist teams in the locker rooms. And the vice premier Matteo Salvini criticizes the decision: "Let's make the Richter scale of the 'buu', let's not make them laugh".

The FIGC Federal Council decided to modify the temporary suspension procedure for the games. In the case of racist chants, then, in the first episode the teams will go to the center of the field, while if a second episode occurs, the teams will go to the locker room. As for the suspension of the match, however, the competent authority will always be responsible for public order.

Among the other decisions of the FIGC also the one concerning the series B, which will be at twenty teams, and not twentyude, starting from next season (2019-2020). The decision comes after the controversy that characterized the start of the current tournament, in which 19 clubs participate. A format that forces the teams to a forced rest apiece.

Critics of the decision on the racist chants came from the vice premier and minister of the Interior, Matteo Salvini: "Let's make the Richter scale of the 'buu', let's not make anyone laugh …".
