PARIS – Two associations have denounced Patrice Evra, French defender of West Ham, for homophobic insults against the PSG, pronounced immediately after the defeat of the Parisians against 'his' former Manchester United in the Champions League . The former Juventus at the Paris Public Prosecutor's Office denounced the associations 'Stop Homophobie' and 'Mousse', supported by the collective 'Rouge Direct' (Rosso direct), which brings together former adherents of Paris Foot Gay, an amateur team capital.
Evra, the homophobic insults after Psg-Manchester United
Former Manchester defender and captain, Evra had literally been unleashed on social networks after the British victory in the second round, taking it in particular with the former PSG Jerome Rothen. Then he said: "Paris, vous etes des pedes …" (Paris, you are fro ..), adding: "Here the real men talk". The player, who is not new to offensive posts and videos, then posted an apology message, claiming he was not a homophobe.
The Rouge Direct collective asked Evra for the maximum penalty, which is a year of imprisonment. If the sentence for the prison does not arrive, however, Evra risks a fine of 400,000 euros.
