Eriksen: “Quarantine? I thought I was sleeping on Lukaku or Young’s sofa, then … “

MILAN – Eriksen 's arrival in our country has been quite traumatic .

Not even the time to debut with Inter that the coronavirus has come to suspend everything

So the former Tottenham footballer had to dive into the harsh reality of quarantine in a city he still didn't know .

The Danish declarations are reported by gazzetta.it.

“I didn't know where to go and at one point I thought about sleeping for 14 days on the sofa of my teammates Lukaku or Young.

But they have a family and then I had to do differently.

So I sat down in the club facilities, along with five staff members and a cook who, like me, preferred to isolate themselves in this way.

I was not able to train on the pitch but I kept fit in the garage of the house.

Of course it's not the same but at least I was able to run …

The first time I left the house I was stopped by the police for a check.

It was embarrassing, because I still don't speak Italian well and I didn't know what could be done or not.

I thought I could take a walk and instead nothing.

With all the free time we had, nothing could be done.

I can't wait to start playing again ".
