El Shaarawy wants to return to Rome, he is ready to cut his eleven million salary

ROME – Stephan El Shaarawy wants to return to Rome . The "Pharaoh" was close to returning to the Giallorossi already last January but his return to the capital could materialize starting from next July.

To do this, El Shaarawy is willing to give up 28 million euros. Pharaoh had signed a three-year contract with the Chinese from Shanghai which guaranteed him a total of 42 million euros.

Of these 42 million, in the end it should pocket only 14, those of the current season.

Roma are considering whether to take him back or not, but in any case he will not be able to guarantee him more than an annual salary of 3 million euros (plus bonuses).

So to return to play in the Giallorossi, Stephan El Shaarawy should cut his annual salary by a good eleven million euros.

On the other hand, Pharaoh perfectly understands that those are Chinese figures to convince the great champions to move to a championship that is certainly not at the level of the European ones.

If El Shaarawy really wants to return to play in Europe, he must return to do so in numbers within the reach of the clubs of the old continent.

Pharaoh has never lost his place in the national team but if he really wants to participate in the next European football championships, he will have to return to play in a competitive league like the Italian one.
