LONDON (ENGLAND) – Didier Drogba has retired from playing football at 40 with the following post on Instagram.
"1989 or where it all began – writes Drogba – when I think of the last 20 years of my professional career, looking at this photo I can not be proud of what I got as a player. The most important thing is that this path has formed me as a man. If someone were to tell you that your dreams are too big, thank him and work ever harder and harder to turn them into reality. "
A stellar career
Drogba is the record holder of the goals (35) for Chelsea in UEFA club competitions.
