ROME – Foreigners can wait. Daniele De Rossi has decided to stay in Italy due to the desperation of the Roma fans who would never have wanted to see him with another shirt other than the Giallorossi. DDR decided to stay in Italy for family reasons. The former Rome captain refused for this reason the offers of Boca Juniors and Los Angeles Fc.
Fiorentina is doing everything to convince him. Vincenzo Montella and Daniele Pradè, his former adventure companions at the time of Rome, are courting him in every way to get him out of a thick competition. Between Fiorentina and Roma there is a historical rivalry but De Rossi is a footballer who is loved all over Italy and therefore this fact would not represent a problem.
A similar reasoning was also done by Milan. Despite the rivalry between the Rossoneri and the Giallorossi, De Rossi would still be welcomed with enthusiasm because he is an experienced and confident football player who could be valuable in the growth of Milan's young talents.
In the last hours, Parma has also come forward. This club would be trying to convince Daniele De Rossi through his former team-mate at Rome's Rudi Garcia Gervinho.
Of all these teams, the two favorites at the moment seem to be Bologna and Sampdoria. Two clubs that do not have a historic rivalry with Roma, like Fiorentina and Milan, and that have secured Daniele De Rossi a starting spot plus a future career as a youth coach (with a view on the first team …).
Bologna is pressing on DDR with the new sports director Walter Sabatini.
