ROME – Interviewed by the "Corriere dello Sport", Naples president Aurelio De Laurentiis denies that he wants to sell the club:
"I make you laugh – he tells the" Corriere dello Sport "- a gentleman approached me a few days ago with a friendly but circumspect attitude. You know, Aurelio, I have the opportunity to introduce you to a buyer who would like to offer nine hundred million euros. I smiled and reiterated what I said repeatedly: Napoli is not for sale. I have no intention that we can run the risk of recreating those situations that then led to decline. Here there is only need of a man with the ability to keep the right course ”.
Then De Laurentiis also spoke of Fabio Quagliarella: "A return to Naples? I believe he deserves this opportunity. I think that it is not an economic question neither for us nor for him, but a romantic solution to end his career in that Naples that he, for what happened to him, could not live as he wanted, that is joyfully " .
