TURIN – There would be Real Madrid behind the pact of confidentiality signed nine years ago by Cristiano Ronaldo with Kathryn Mayorga , the American model who accuses him of rape. It is supported by the Portuguese daily Correio da Manha, which reports a comprehensive account of the meeting in Lisbon between the player and his lawyers.
For the Lusitanian newspaper, the attacker stating his innocence would have been opposed to paying the model the 375 thousand dollars provided for by the confidentiality agreement. The Spanish club, however, according to the newspaper, would have instead pushed to pay compensation for the fear that the company could be discredited.
Correio da Manha also returns to the alleged violence by claiming that after sex, Ronaldo and the model returned to the disco and stayed there for several hours. These details would be part of the lawyers' strategy to remove the charges against the player.
