NOVARA – The patron of Novara Calcio, Maurizio Rullo , is positive for the coronavirus. The sports club reports on Twitter, stating that Rullo, currently hospitalized in Legnano, would have been infected "during a business trip to Germany".
In recent days Rullo had shown symptoms of fever, which did not pass. On Wednesday he was taken to the hospital and subjected to the swab. "Once the positive status of the Patron has been ascertained, the Company with the support of the Medical Staff has put in place all the information and verification measures required by the competent bodies on public health and safety as well as the National Professional Football League".
“Specifically – continues the note – suitable and detailed information was provided to the SISP (Public Health and Hygiene Service) of the Novara ASL. In view of the information provided, the aforementioned body confirms the possibility of proceeding with regular sports activities and does not find any need for further interventions. Consequently, there are no impediments to the continuation of the activity for the sports bodies concerned. The Company and medical staff will monitor the situation in close contact with the competent bodies ".
