ISTANBUL (TURKEY) – The conditions of Rüştü Reçber, former goalkeeper of Barcelona and of the Turkish National team named best in the world in his role in 2003, and now positive for coronavirus are worsening.
The player has been hospitalized in his Turkey for days, after the announcement of the positivity made by his wife after returning from a trip to the United States.
According to local media reports, filmed by the Spanish Marca, Rüştü Reçber, 46, is said to be in critical condition.
His choice not to go into quarantine on his return from the US had aroused social protests from his former fans of Galatasary's time, but now everyone is breathless for the evolution of his clinical conditions.
Rüştü Reçber, a successful career: he has been included in the list of the 125 strongest players in the world according to FIFA.
Rüştü Reçber was the UEFA goalkeeper of the year of the year in 2002. In 2003 FIFA awarded him the title of best goalkeeper in the world .
In 2004 it was included in FIFA 100, a list of the 125 greatest living players, selected by Pele and FIFA on the occasion of the centenary celebrations of the federation.
A black dye mark was often placed under both eyes , to avoid the glare of the spotlight .
