Coronavirus positive Patrick Ewing, the former NBA star is hospitalized

NEW YORK (UNITED STATES) – Patrick Ewing , a former NBA star, is hospitalized after being tested positive for coronavirus.

To announce it is himself through the following post published on social media.

“I want to share with you that I tested positive at Covid-19.

This virus is a serious matter and should not be taken lightly.

I want to tell everyone to stay safe and take care of themselves and their loved ones.

Now more than ever.

I want to thank all the people who work in our hospitals and more generally those who are involved in the front line in this battle.

I will be better and I will be able to face and go through this too ”.

Ewing is one of the strongest players in NBA history.

Pat is part of the US Hall of Fame , has been summoned eleven times to the All Stars Game and has won two Olympics with the US Dream Team.

In fact, Ewing was one of the great stars of the national team with stars and stripes that won the gold medals in Los Angeles in 1984 and in Barcelona in 1992 .

At the end of his playing career, he started his coaching career.

After a few years as deputy, from the Wizards to the Hornets , he currently holds the position of head coach of Georgetown Hoyas.
