Coronavirus, Michela Persico: “Buffer on March 8”. Juventus: “No 11”. Who is telling the truth?

TURIN – The interview with the TPI portal (The Post Internazionale) issued by Michela Persico , the girlfriend of Juventus footballer Daniele Rugani, which reconstructs the case of the coronavirus positivity of the Juventus defender, created a bit of turmoil.

The journalist, originally from Alzano Lombardo (Bergamo), claims that the Rugani swab for the search for the virus was carried out on Sunday 8 March, the day of Juventus-Inter, and that the result was communicated to him on 9.

Juventus contest this reconstruction and let it be known that the test date is Wednesday 11 March: the analysis would have been carried out in the morning, the response delivered in the evening.

At 11 p.m. on 11 March, the Juventus club released the official statement of Rugani's positivity, the first case of Serie A footballer disclosed.

Daniele Rugani is not the only Juventus player to be infected with the coronavirus, after which French midfielder Blaise Matuidi and Argentine striker Paulo Dybala also fell ill.
