HELSINKI (FINLAND) – Litmanen has not yet completely recovered from the coronavirus but the worst seems to have passed.
The former Ajax footballer has been very ill from the virus that is bringing the world to his knees .

“I've never been this bad in my life.
I have experienced fever, headache, muscle pain and a sense of tightness.
I was annoyed by everything.
I had to get hospitalized.
Fortunately, things have improved somewhat in the past two weeks when they have discharged and treated me at home. "
Litmanen was chosen as the best Finnish footballer of the last 50 years by the Finnish Football Federation at the UEFA Jubilee Awards in November 2003 .
In 2004 it reached 42nd place in the ranking of the "100 largest Finns".
The Association of Football Statisticians' (The AFS), ranking the greatest footballers of all time , included it in 53rd place .
In Finland it is often called "Litti" or "Kuningas" ("The King").
