Coronavirus. Lazio, Lotito blocks his foreigners in Rome: he hopes for a resumption of the championship

ROME – It is a total clash between Claudio Lotito and the other big names in Serie A.

While Juventus and Inter have given the green light to the departure of his foreigners, Lotito has decided to make them stay in Rome because he hopes for a recovery of the championship in a short time.

Lotito, strong of the data that speak of a decrease of people infected with coronavirus in our country, would like to resume training as soon as possible.

In this position he is supported by Aurelio De Laurentiis but is strongly opposed by Juventus and Inter.

While Lotito is in a hurry to start playing again, Juventus and Inter stand on more cautious positions and for this reason they have lost their foreigners to leave.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Gonzalo Higuain, Rodrigo Bentancur, Miralem Pjanic and Sami Khedira left Turin to return home.

Not only Juventus, most of the Inter players have also returned to their homeland.

Romelu Lukaku, who in the past few days had said he misses his mother and son, has left for Belgium, and for England Moses, Young and Eriksen who has spent the last two weeks alone in Appiano Gentile after the closure of the hotel where he was staying.

Diego Godin also flew to Uruguay, while Brozovic and Handanovic had left Italy yesterday.

Foreign players got the go-ahead from the club after spending fifteen days in home isolation after contacting Daniele Rugani in Juventus-Inter.

No footballer showed symptoms and therefore the club did not perform coronavirus verification swabs.
