LISBON (PORTUGAL) – The coronavirus has also affected the Portuguese football championship .

A first case had been identified in late April , among the under 23 years of Belenenses in Lisbon.

The Portuguese government announced the possible recovery in the last weekend of May .

When the tournament was suspended on March 12, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Porto was at the top of the standings with an advantage over Benfica.

Lega and the Portuguese Football Federation have not yet confirmed the recovery date.

The conditions for playing the last 10 days dictated by the General Directorate of Health (DGS) provide that the players limit their social interactions to the club staff.
