Coronavirus, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mendes donate 35 intensive care places in Lisbon and Porto

LISBON (PORTUGAL) – Cristiano Ronaldo takes the field against the coronavirus. This time it's not a fake news like the one that talked about its luxury hotels to be transformed into hospitals ( here) .

Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Mendes donated all the material necessary to create 35 new intensive care units in the hospitals of Lisbon and Porto.

The structures affected by these donations will be the Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Norte (CHULN), the hospitals of Santa Maria and Pulido Valente and the Hospital de Santo António.

As Il Corriere dello Sport writes, the new intensive care units will be called UCI Cristiano Ronaldo and UCI Jorge Mendes , in honor of the donors.

Ronaldo is spending this period of quarantine in his luxury villa in Madeira, Portugal, after the indefinite suspensions of Serie A and Champions League for the coronavirus emergency.

Cr7 arrived in Portugal after Juventus' victory against Inter to stay close to the mother who is carrying out the rehabilitation after being hospitalized for a stroke.

Luckily Maria Dolores Aveiro is well and is in great recovery so much so that she left the hospital to continue her rehabilitation in her son's mega villa together with Cr7 and the rest of the family (here).
