ROME – Not only the Serie A, also several Champions and Europa League matches will be played behind closed doors for the coronavirus alarm. These are specifically Valencia-Atalanta and Juventus-Lyon in the Champions League and Rome-Seville and Inter-Getafe in the Europa League.

The challenges of Atalanta and Juventus are valid for the return of the Champions League round of 16, Inter-Getafe is valid for the first leg of the Europa League round of 16, Rome-Seville is valid instead for the return of the round of 16 of Europa League. No decisions have yet been made on Sevilla-Roma, the first leg of the Europa League round of 16.

Coronavirus, Atalanta's statement: the match against Valencia behind closed doors.

In consideration of the recent decision issued by the Consellería de Sanidad de la Comunidad Valencian a (Ministry of Health of Valencia) and of the statement from the Spanish Federation, UEFA confirms that the Valencia-Atalanta match, valid as a return of the Uefa Champions League Round of 16 , can be played as scheduled (in terms of date, start time and venue), but must take place behind closed doors, i.e. that no ticket holder (purchased either from the home club, from the away club or through UEFA) will be authorized to attend the game.
