Coronavirus: Andrea Micheli, former Pergolettese president, died at only 37 years old

MILAN – The world of football is mourning the death of Andrea Micheli at just 37 years old. The former president of Pergolettese , the Lombard Serie C club sold in 2016 after having triumphed in the Serie D championship, had been hospitalized for several days in the intensive care unit of the Milan hospital.

His health condition suddenly worsened last night and there was nothing more to do. Micheli was remembered by Pergolettese through a post published on the official Instagram profile of the Serie C company.

"USPERGOLETTESE 1932, is heartbroken and mourns the loss of ANDREA MICHELI, former President of the Company (from 2012 to 2016) and always sponsor and fan. To Cesare, Anna and the whole MICHELI family, the most heartfelt condolences from all members of the Company ".

Sanz also died of coronavirus while Dybala and Maldini are positive but are doing well.

This very bad news came shortly after that of the positivity to the coronavirus of Paulo Dybala of Juventus and of Paolo and Daniel Maldini, manager and footballer of Milan respectively.

Fortunately, both Dybala and Maldini are doing well, while Lorenzo Sanz, former president of Real Madrid, also went badly. He lost his life due to the coronavirus yesterday.
