ROME – Domenico Di Carlo is the new coach of Chievo.
Di Carlo, who freed himself from the contract that bound him to Novara, signed a six-month contract, plus a substantial economic bonus in case of salvation. Di Carlo will now be in charge of Veronello's training for the Scala team. It was an obligatory choice after Ventura's farewell.
Di Carlo had already been in Chievo and had led the team to a salvation in a very complicated situation. At the moment the Chievo is last in the standings with 0 points (starting from -3) and nine points from salvation. The first game of Di Carlo will be anything but easy. Chievo, in fact, will play away against Napoli.
