OPORTO – Moments of great emotion in Oporto for the exit from the hospital of Iker Casillas, Spanish goalkeeper who had been hospitalized following a heart attack accused during a training session with the Portuguese club. Iker Casillas was discharged from the Oporto hospital where he was admitted last Wednesday following a heart attack. The number 1 of the Port appeared visibly moved and on the future he said "I don't know what will reserve me, the important thing is to stay here".
Casillas left the hospital together with his partner Sara Carbonero .
"A few days I had an event that can happen to everyone and it happened to me, but we are here – said the Spanish goalkeeper visibly excited – I was very lucky.
I felt very touched by everyone who cared about me. Thank you for all the support that came from the network. I feel better. Now I'll have to stay at home for a couple of weeks or a couple of months. But it is the same, the important thing is to be there. Thousands and thousands of people have sent me messages and I will answer everyone because now I will have time. I don't know what the future holds for me, the important thing is to stay here ”.
