BUENOS AIRES (ARGENTINA) – In the last hours, Gonzalo Higuain ended up in the storm to have fled Turin by violating the quarantine.
The Argentine footballer, in the same way as the other teammates, was in quarantine after the coronavirus positivity of teammates Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi.
Higuain would have decided to leave Turin with the Portuguese isolation of Cristiano Ronaldo.
If he did, why can't I? This must have been asked by Higuain in preparing to escape from the Turin quarantine.
The Argentine attacker showed the police who had stopped him near the Turin airport the negative result of the coronavirus swab, then flew to Argentina making two stopovers in Europe (first in France and then in Spain to reunite with the rest of the family).
Today is the news that Higuain has fled for a just cause, to stay close to the mother who is undergoing chemotherapy cycles to fight cancer that struck her four years ago.
This is confirmed by Nicola Higuain, Gonzalo's brother, through this post published on social media: “our mother has had cancer for four years and will not stop her fight against the disease. We ask for some respect and consideration ”.
Higuain was not the only footballer to abandon the Turin quarantine to return home, Pjanic, Khedira and Bentancur also followed suit.
