ROME – After a few seasons, Roma finally solved the problem of right-back. Davide Zappacosta comes on loan from Chelsea. The Italian national could support medical examinations with its new club tomorrow. Now Alessandro Florenzi will be able to return to playing in his natural role, that of a tall exterior. In this field position, Florenzi did very well both during the management of Rudi Garcia, and in the national team under the orders of Antonio Conte (who not by chance tried to take him to Inter during this transfer market …).

Thanks to this purchase, Roma will be able to line up Pau Lopez in goal, Zappacosta as right back, one between Kolarov and Spinazzola as left back, two among Jesus, Fazio, Mancini and Cetin as central defenders, three between Cristante, Zaniolo, Pellegrini, Diawara and Veretout as midfielders and a trident that could be composed by Perotti, Under and Dzeko with Florenzi as "fourth" owner. Florenzi could take the place of Perotti as Fonseca proved him right in that role in Rome's first pre-season friendlies. Fonseca had started with Karsdorp as a right-back but the Dutchman did not convince and was sold to Feyenoord (where he suffered an injury in his first appearance in the championship).
