NAPLES – Napoli is serious about Mauro Icardi. The start of the championship is upon us and the Argentinian striker continues to be out of the green in Inter. At first, Icardi wanted to move to Juventus but this transfer market operation is complicated by tense relations between the two clubs and by the fact that the Bianconeri, before buying another striker, need to thin out the offensive department.
At this point, the most likely destination for Mauro Icardi remains Naples. Especially now that Aurelio De Laurentiis has presented an official offer both to Inter, in the person of Beppe Marotta, and to Wanda Nara, partner and agent of the Argentine striker.
Napoli presented Inter a sixty – five million euro offer , a respectable figure for a player who almost never took the field in the last season, staying for a long time, devaluing and not just the price of his card . Moreover, Mauro Icardi has not even been called up by Argentina for the America's Cup in Brazil.
The same Napoli, offered Mauro Icardi a salary of 6 / 6.5 million euros per season that could reach seven with bonuses not impossible to achieve. The figure is far from the nine million euros claimed by Wanda Nara some time ago but, as previously mentioned, the value of Icardi has devalued, and not even a little, in the last year.
Logic wants this transfer market to find a positive conclusion before the start of the championship. The end of the July session is shortly and it is in the common interest to find a solution to the Icardi case.
