MILAN – The championship is stopped due to the efforts of the national teams but at home Inter is working intensively on the transfer market to satisfy Antonio Conte. In the sights of the Nerazzurri, there are essentially three players: Kulusevski, on loan at Parma from Atalanta, Dries Mertens, whose contract expires in Naples, and Alessandro Florenzi, who ended up on the margins of the Giallorossi's technical project.
The negotiation for Kulusevski is not simple. To sell it immediately, Atalanta asks for thirty million euros. Then Parma must also be convinced, to do so, Inter could give them some youth from the Primavera. Moving on to the attack, Mertens and Inter have already reached an agreement in principle but now we will have to talk to Napoli.
Inter could hire Mertens on a free transfer in a few months, but Conte immediately wants him, seeing that in the attack the Nerazzurri are few after the bad injury remedied by Alexis Sanchez. De Laurentiis does not want to give up players in January but it is better to cash in little than nothing. Selling Mertens in January would mean cashing in cash anyway, but in July it would go away on a free transfer with no gain for Napoli.
Finally, the Nerazzurri push for an exchange of transfers with Roma . Inter offers Politano to get to Florenzi. The Nerazzurri have proposed an equal exchange while the Giallorossi would also like to earn something as Florenzi is an irremovable pawn of the Italian national team.
