MILAN – It must have been a key day in the transfer market negotiations to bring Dzeko from Roma to Inter but it wasn't. "We have not talked about the market". Rome's director general, Mauro Baldissoni, denies having had interviews with Inter for Edin Dzeko, leaving today's Lega Serie A assembly.
The parties are still far apart even though Dzeko has promised Inter for a long time. The offer of the Nerazzurri is far from the amount requested by Rome for the sale of the Bosnian striker. The Rome asks 18 million euros, Inter does not even arrive to 14. It takes an effort by the Nerazzurri to positively close the Dzeko deal.
As soon as Dzeko leaves, Roma will concentrate on negotiating the transfer of Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus to the Giallorossi. Higuain is leaving Juventus with the Juventus club that has given the agent of the Argentine attacker the mandate to find him a new destination as soon as possible.
Even Marotta does not talk about transfer market: "We chose Conte because we are the year zero".
"I think that what Conte said is to be shared, it is right that the coaches ask to work in depth and therefore with the most complete squad possible": the CEO of Inter Beppe Marotta says it on the sidelines of the presentation of the calendars.
"With Conte we are zero year – he adds – there are situations that must be defined but we are convinced to create a rose to the height. He brought enthusiasm, passion and work culture ".
Marotta then returns to talk about Icardi's future, now out of the Nerazzurri team's plans: “The Icardi affair is difficult to manage above all from the media point of view, with news that I would call captious. Then, in my 40 years of career I have seen so many situations like this; it is the media effect that generates that worries "(source Ansa).
