CAGLIARI – Audience postponed for the arm wrestling over the image rights of the Uruguayan player of Cagliari Naithan Nandez. The lawyers of the rossoblù club and of the Goal services Consulting found themselves at the court of Cagliari before the judge Stefano Greco but the parties only left immediately from the courtroom.
Reason? Negotiations in progress and hearing postponed to 14 February. The referral request was proposed by the Goal – represented by the lawyers Luca Crotta, Luca Tettamanti, Michele Spadini – and was accepted by Cagliari, represented by the lawyers Alberto Porzio, Walter Marini, Massimo Delogu.
Pommel of discord the player's image rights. But on the figure – as explained Crotta – it is still not possible to establish anything. It is not said that we will return to the courtroom, but if the parties were to agree, there would be no need to come back before the judge. "The player – Porzio explained – has nothing to do: the sports contract is not in question".
The path of Nandez in Cagliari. On 9 August 2019 his move to Cagliari was made official: the rossoblù club withdraws him for a total amount of 18 million euros, making Nández the most expensive purchase in Cagliari's history. The debut with the Sardinians takes place on August 18 in the third round of the Italian Cup, in the match with ChievoVerona (2-1), taking over from Marko Rog.
After a week he made his debut in the Serie A championship, in the home game against Brescia, lost 1-0. He immediately became the owner of the islanders, and on October 27 he scored the first goal in Serie A against Turin in the match drawn for 1-1. Up to now, Nandez has played 18 games with the Cagliari shirt scoring a goal (sources Ansa and Wikipedia).
