BENEVENTO – Fairy tale with a happy ending in Benevento. As corrieredellosport.it tells, a lady found Pippo Inzaghi's wallet in the parking lot of a supermarket in via Pietro Nenni, brought it to the carabinieri who then proceeded to return it to the Benevento coach.
The lady behaved like a model citizen and was not even fascinated by the fact that the wallet, full of money, belonged to a champion of the world of football.
Pippo Inzaghi is looking for a raise after failing in Serie A on the Milan and Bologna benches. The former AC Milan striker is succeeding because his Benevento is dominating the Italian Serie B football championship with twelve points ahead of Pordenone second in the standings. Inzaghi also has fifteen points of advantage over Crotone and 17 over Virtus Entella and Cittadella.
Inzaghi began his coaching career at Milan. In 2012 he coached the Allievi, the following year the Primavera and finally made his debut in the first team in 2014. After the ruinous end of the experience at Milan, he returned to the game on the bench of Venezia in Serie C.
Inzaghi wins the Serie C championship and has a great season in Serie B where he manages to finish in fifth place. These excellent performances allow him to be hired by Bologna in Serie A.
On the rossoblù bench Inzaghi fails miserably and is exonerated to make room for Sinisa Mihajlovic (who is still on the Bologna bench). So Inzaghi is forced to start again from Serie B where he is doing very well on the Benevento bench.
