Bayern beats Lyon with Gnabry’s show, will challenge PSG in the Champions League final

Bayern Munich returns to the Champions League final after 7 years thanks to the victory against Lyon with a show by Gnabry . He will challenge the PSG.

At Bayern, the hunt for the sixth Champions League has officially begun. In fact, the Germans won 3 to 0 against Lyon, with a brace from Gnabry and a goal from Lewandowski, and returned to the final after the triumph against Dortmund 7 years ago.

A more than deserved qualification for what Bayern showed both during this Champions League season, where they won all the games, and during this Final Eight in Lisbon.

In fact, the Germans have won all the games played in the Champions League this season, scoring a total of 41 goals.

Despite these impressive numbers, tonight's game did not start well at all as Lyon got off to a flying start following their success against Guardiola's City.

But unfortunately for Rudi Garcia's team, Depay and Ekambi devoured the goals already scored in front of Neuer after Boateng's defensive blunders.

Football does not forgive, missed goals always correspond to goals conceded and so it was also tonight.

Lyon surrendered to a stellar Gnabry.

Gnabry started from the right, concentrated and started a left footed car that finished its run in the net, under the intersection of the goalposts.

Shortly after, Bayern signed the double starting from the opposite wing. Perisic broke free on the left and sent a great cross into the Lyon penalty area.

Lewandowski ate a goal into an empty net, clicking the ball, but on the rebound, Gnabry scored into practically empty net.

In the second half, Lyon missed some good opportunities to get back into the game with Bayern who controlled the double advantage without too many worries.

Late in the game, Lewandowski scored the 15th goal of his extraordinary Champions League with a perfect header. The Bayern striker is not only the top scorer in this competition but also boasts the record of scoring in all matches of the season.

It will be an unprecedented Champions League final because it is PSG's first historic final in the top European club competition.
