VERONA – Not only the coronavirus , the Hellas Verona Badu footballer has experienced some really difficult months…
First the murder of his sister , then Badu even risked dying from a blood clot in the lungs.
The statements made by Badu to the BBC are reported by sportmediaset.mediaset.it.
"2019 and 2020 were the most difficult years of my life. In August I almost died , I had many injuries and then I lost my sister in such a painful way.
I am almost dead. I was having trouble breathing that night . I thought it was tired, in the morning they gave me painkillers but the following evening it was even worse.
At 2 I called the doctor who luckily was awake and sent me the physiotherapist, who was closest to me.
He told me we had to go to the hospital . Eventually I found out that I had a blood clot in my lungs.
I had to stop playing for 3-4 months but now I'm on my feet. I think it would have been a disaster without them.
The murder of my sister ? It is very difficult for me and my family. The killer is still on the run because the virus slows everything down.
I live alone here in Verona. I was in a room for 34 days and couldn't see what happened to my sister . "
