ROME – Atalanta fans , after having celebrated their 2-0 win against Udinese and their fourth place in the standings (which would be worth a place in the Champions League), have decided to take home a historic piece of the Northern curve . With chisels and hammers, they were immortalized in order to remove pieces of stone and steps of the historic curve of the Atleti Azzurri d'Italia stadium . In fact, starting today, April 30, the North curve will be demolished as part of the construction of the new Atalanta stadium.
The desire for souvenirs, reports the Corriere della Sera, has however become vandalism, with fans who, while disassembling taps and sanitary fittings, were stopped by the company due to a flooding risk.
