As Roma delivers anti-coronavirus kits to its over 75 subscribers and the most needy

ROME – As Roma has taken the field for its over 75 subscribers in anti coronavirus function. This was announced by the Giallorossi club itself through this press release published on its website.

“Over-75 season ticket holders at As Roma matches have started to receive the Roma Cares box containing essential items today.

Four yellow and red little apes distributed parcels in the city that include various foodstuffs, among which there was no lack of pasta produced by La Molisana, Gentilini biscuits and a bottle of Peroni beer, as well as a copy of the Gazzetta dello Sport and a series of principals to protect themselves during the Covid-19 epidemic.

There was also a special surprise for this season's oldest subscriber, Eliseo Lorenzetti, born in 1923, who received a shirt signed by Edin Dzeko.

The initiative is part of the company's campaign dedicated to the Covid-19 emergency and is aimed at supporting the most vulnerable people in the city in this time of crisis.

With the revenues from the fundraising launched by the Company, which exceeded 500 thousand euros, AS Roma has already ordered eight lung ventilators (three for intensive care, five for sub-intensive therapy) and eight beds for intensive care for the Spallanzani Hospital.

Roma Cares also delivered 13,000 FFP2 masks to Roman hospitals, as well as 120 500ml bottles of hand sanitizer.

In the outskirts of the capital, however, the Club has distributed a total of 8,000 pairs of protective gloves and 2,000 bottles of disinfectant gel ".

Rome was not limited to this, deliveries to hospitals and suburban parishes have also started in the last few hours.
