Arthur, a new Juventus signing, will not play the Champions League match between Barcelona and Naples scheduled for 8 August.
Arthur told Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo , that he is currently on vacation in Brazil and will not return for the match against Napoli .
According to the Spanish newspaper, Arthur was not granted permission by the club. Therefore Barca will not tolerate absences from the player. The blaugrana have already sold him to Juventus, but until the end of the season he will be available to coach Quique Setien.
Barcelona, explains Mundo Deportivo, will be forced to open a disciplinary procedure against its member. Sources of the club, cited by the newspaper, do not hide great regret for what is considered a serious lack of professionalism on the part of Arthur, who has not shown any interest in playing since he signed for Juve.
