MILAN – AC Milan is perfecting Laxalt's return to base from Turin because he has problems on the Robinson front. The Uruguayan outsider, who has already played 29 games with the Rossoneri's shirt, could return to take the place of Rodriguez, sold to PSV in the Netherlands. Laxalt had also entered the sights of Fiorentina but in the end nothing was done.

Fiorentina was unable to take even Mimmo Criscito, a footballer who decided to stay at Genoa, caught up in the fight not to retreat, as a true captain.

As said, the Laxalt idea was born after problems arose for Robinson's membership of Wigan. The American footballer is in Milan, where he has successfully passed the medical visits with the Rossoneri, but he is not yet a Milan footballer because the agreement with Wigan is missing.

Rossoneri and English do not find the right formula. There is no agreement on the figure that should trigger the redemption obligation. In the event that the two clubs do not reach an agreement before the closure of the transfer market, Robinson would return to Wigan and Laxalt would return to Milan from Turin. In short, Robinson is still Milan's plan A but now there is also a very valid plan B like Laxalt.
